Data & access

A clear record of your experiment, with access tied to your project and role.

Access follows the installation

Accounts are assigned project roles and, where applicable, equipment-specific access. Administrators can review team membership and invitation status in Account & access. Contact your administrator or support to arrange or change access.

Your experiment record

Traces, Overview, and Record connect measurements with plan revisions, notes, and recorded controller activity. Data completeness, time windows, and device timestamps matter when interpreting a result. Missing data remains visible as missing.

Export and share

Open an experiment and choose Export for a readings CSV or an Experiment brief you can save or print to PDF. The brief states the reporting window, time zone, plan snapshot, data source, and any unavailable records. CSV files include raw and calibrated readings, measurement and receipt times, and event identifiers.

What a reading establishes

VWC means volumetric water content. Its interpretation depends on the sensor, growing medium, and calibration. Explain this reading shows the available raw signal, sensor identity, current calibration, plan target, and nearby valve records. Current configuration is not necessarily the configuration used for an earlier measurement.

What an operation establishes

A requested change, an applied controller setting, a valve opening, and physically delivered water are different forms of evidence. A valve record alone does not measure water delivery. Check the equipment and the experiment's physical setup when commissioning or investigating an unexpected response.

Data responsibilities

The software terms describe research-data ownership and permitted uses. Keep exports appropriate to your research and institutional recordkeeping requirements. Contact support to discuss formats, retention, or access needs.
